This Holiday cottage is a veritable belvedere overlooking the most magnificent part of our region: Lake Chambon and the Chaudefour Valley.
It's an old farmhouse built in the hills above the village of Varennes at a time when French was not yet the common language. You'll find evidence of this era in the carved stones adorning the hearth of the fireplace and in the small vaulted cellar.

Gïtes Bélagaita 1 and 2 are magnificent creations in a farmhouse setting, with all contemporary comforts and quality materials, and the owner's attentive attention to detail: a perfect blend for a successful vacation!

The Holiday cottage (over 80 m2 for 4 people) is entirely on one level, and is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

The Holiday cottage includes:

- a living room with kitchen and cosy sitting area
- a bedroom with a 160cm bed
- bedroom with two 90cm beds
- a bathroom with walk-in shower and WC

Whatever season you choose, you're sure to enjoy the view!
A large wooden terrace has been laid out in front of the Holiday cottage. Just cross the small lane and the whole valley opens up before you, from Lake Chambon to Puy de Sancy, passing through the plains of Varennes and Voissières, the village of Chambon sur Lake and the majestic and picturesque Chaudefour Valley. You'll be ideally placed to enjoy Hiking around the lakes, on the flanks of the Sancy massif or volcanoes. The beaches of Lake Chambon and Murol Castle are less than 5 minutes away. In winter, you can ski on the slopes of Super-Besse, Chastreix or Le Mont-Dore, less than half an hour away, or on the old Chambon des Neiges slopes for tobogganing or ski touring.
