Nestled in the heart of the Veauchette estate in Forez, this unusual cabin offers direct access to five fishing ponds, hiking trails, and cycling loops between Forez and the Monts du Lyonnais. History buffs can explore the Château de Bouthéon or follow the stages of the Way of St. James.
The owners’ warm and attentive hospitality, the tranquility of the wooded grounds, and the opportunity to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities guarantee a unique stay.
On-site, there are 5 Chalets (accommodating a total of 16 to 21 people) on the edge of a pond, including 2 on stilts. A reception hall for 60 people is available for rent, ideal for birthdays or family gatherings (rental available upon request from the manager)
The estate features an on-site fitness trail, a ping-pong table, and a bocce court, while a cozy snack bar is located just 500 meters away, open from June through September.
Located just a stone’s throw from the Domaine de Veauchette, the Ô 2 Gâtés open-air café welcomes you to a friendly setting by the ponds. Enjoy gourmet dining, sharing platters, pizzas, and a variety of summer activities: concerts, theme nights, and a pétanque court. Open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Erected above a peaceful pond, the Cabin Libellule opens onto a serene interlude for two, with the possibility of an extra bed for two additional guests. Its 36 m² surface area includes a bright living area with large bay windows, a bedroom with two single beds, a shower room and separate toilet, as well as a fully functional kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and freezer. The living room features a sofa bed and TV, all with Internet access. A private terrace with garden furniture extends the living room outwards, while a shed provides storage space for bicycles, fishing rods or leisure equipment. Washing machines and tumble dryers are available free of charge for maximum convenience.
