On the hillsides of the Côte Roannaise, come and stay in this former wine farm dating from 1878, renovated with taste and comfort, and enjoy a Wellbeing area with sauna and jacuzzi! Sophie and François welcome you to their guest house "La Ferme des Galoches", located in the heart of the countryside just 12 km from Roanne, and 1 hour from St Étienne, Clermont-Ferrand and Lyon.

You'll love the property's outdoor spaces, with their period dovecotes and plunging views over the surrounding Countryside, life on the farm with chickens and horses, relaxing in the shade of the lime trees... (note: the exteriors are currently being finished). You'll also appreciate the many Hiking trails that criss-cross the Monts de la Madeleine from the farm, and the proximity of Lake Villerest. The owners have taken great care to preserve the character of this old farmhouse, preserving the cement-tiled floors, the wooden floors, the stone staircase... while providing you with the utmost comfort with excellent bedding, quality sanitary facilities and meticulous decoration. The table d'hôtes is available on reservation with the owners, to share convivial moments with friends or family: 25€/person - 10€ Kids under 12 - 12€ picnic basket.

The 500 m², two-storey bed and breakfast welcomes you in four charming rooms, combining comfort, space and authenticity. "La Familiale" (30 m²) is ideal for tribes, with 4 modular beds and a private shower room. "La Suite" (31 m²) features a king-size bed (or two single beds), a cosy sitting area with sofa bed, and an en-suite shower room. "La Violette" (30 m²) combines softness and elegance, with a 180cm bed (or two 90cm beds), convertible sofa and private bathroom. On the top floor, a bedroom full of character has been fitted out under a majestic wooden framework, in the most beautiful room in the house. It offers a 140cm bed and two 90cm beds, perfect for a convivial stay. Located above the other bedrooms, the soundproofing is lighter. Access to the Wellbeing area (sauna, jacuzzi) optional: €10/person.
