At an altitude of 1,000 meters, nestled in the natural setting of the Pilat Regional Nature Park, this holiday cottage invites you to slow down and fully enjoy every moment. As soon as the first rays of sunlight appear, birdsong accompanies walks around the pond, while hiking trails, mountain bike routes, and cycling paths stretch as far as the eye can see. Nature lovers will also appreciate the proximity to cross-country ski slopes in winter and the many great spots for fishing. As you explore, discover the varied landscapes of the Loire Valley, charming villages, farmers’ markets, renowned Vineyards, and the cultural treasures of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

Just twenty minutes from Saint-Étienne, Le Roman des Glacières welcomes you to a fully renovated, single-story former icehouse spanning 138 m², where historic charm meets modern comfort. This holiday cottage features three elegant bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and direct access to the outdoors via a wooden deck.
The Parenthèse bedroom features a 160-cm double bed, while the Dédicace and Apostrophe bedrooms each offer an 180-cm bed that can be converted into two 90-cm beds.
The living area centers around a cozy living room with a fireplace, perfect for evenings with family or friends, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, and modern appliances.
A fourth separate 40 m² bedroom, “Voyelle,” can be booked as an add-on to accommodate up to nine people (€100 per weekend and €200 per week).
Sheets, linens, geothermal heating, Wi-Fi, a washer, and a dryer are included for a comfortable stay.
