This Holiday cottage for 4 people welcomes you at an altitude of 830 meters, in a green setting typical of the Monts du Forez. A tastefully renovated former farmhouse, it offers a soft, restful atmosphere, with wooden floors, whitewash and carefully selected furnishings. From the Forézienne gallery, you can gaze out over the rolling meadows while Kids play in the garden. An ideal place to reconnect with the essentials, away from the hustle and bustle.
Palogneux is a small, unspoilt village, ideal for nature lovers. Just a few kilometers away, you'll find the Chorsin waterfall, the medieval ruins of the Château de Couzan and the unique basalt organs of the Forez region. In winter, winter sports enthusiasts can head for the ski resort of Chalmazel (17 km) or the Espace Nordique du Haut Forez (12 km) for an unforgettable experience in the great outdoors. Hikers can set off on foot directly from the Holiday cottage along the marked trails.

This 70 m² Holiday cottage, rated 3 épis, is located on the first floor of an old farmhouse. It comprises a cosy living room with wood-burning stove, a fully-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with two single beds), a bathroom with bathtub and separate WC. Comfort includes: Bed linen and towels provided, beds made on arrival, internet connection, dishwasher, washing machine, TV. A private terrace and the garden invite you to relax (the garden is a place of passage for the owners, who know how to be discreet). In October 2024, La Grunonde won the René Fontaine - Maions Paysannes de France national "coup de coeur" award for the quality of its restoration.
