From this peaceful retreat nestled in the heart of the Countryside, hiking trails are accessible right outside the Holiday cottage, allowing you to explore the rolling landscapes that give the Loire its charm. Cyclists and mountain bikers will enjoy the many routes in the area, while history buffs can easily visit Saint-Étienne and its famous Musée des Verts. From walks through the Loire Gorges to exploring local farmers’ markets and indulging in gourmet meals at the area’s finest restaurants, there’s no shortage of opportunities to get away from it all. This vacation home in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region charms guests as much with its peaceful setting as with the quality of its hospitality, which is regularly praised by travelers.
Housed in a fully renovated old stone barn, La Grange de la Bellevue welcomes you to a 70 m² single-story holiday cottage designed to combine comfort and simplicity. The cottage features a bright living area that combines a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a cozy living room—the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The sleeping area consists of two bedrooms: the first has a 140-cm double bed, while the second has two 90-cm single beds. A bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet complete the space. Wi-Fi, multimedia equipment, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a freezer, and geothermal heating all contribute to your daily comfort. Accessible to guests with mobility, visual, hearing, or cognitive disabilities, this holiday cottage also features a private yard with a terrace—ideal for enjoying the scenery as soon as the sun rises. HB Gite très agréable au calme
Nous avons été extrêmement bien accueillis par les propriétaires du gite. Il est grand avec 2 belles chambres et un sejour/cuisine.
La terrasse offre une très belle vue sur la plaine du Forez.
La situation proche de St Heand permet d’avoir à la fois le calme de la campagne et un accès facile aux communes alentours.- Cleanliness

Wayno A good stay
The welcome of the owner was very nice and friendly. They were really helpful. The Gite itself is in a lovely, quiet place with a lovely view. On a clear day we could see a very long way. The Gite is clean but we had a few ants in the bathroom and by the entrance. The ant problem in the bathroom could be resolved by sealing a small hole in the wall. The place needs a bit of refreshing, (in bathroom, kitchen). A few newer kitchen utensils. Draws with lots of out of date brochures. A second easy chair/settee would be nice. Some of the wooden dining chairs need changing or gluing up. A clothes hanging rail would be useful in the room with the double bed.
But still with all I've said here we enjoyed our stay and would go back. It was great for our visit. The owners (especially the lady) were lovely as was their pet dog.- Cleanliness

ninipinson sejour agréable
gite très bien équipé, tous les appareils ménagers nécessaires, beaucoup d'espace pour circuler en fauteuil.
extérieurs bien adaptés aux jeux des enfants : balançoire, jeu de boules, babyfoot, table de ping-pong, et jeux de société à l'intérieur de l'appartement. même le chien est venu jouer avec nos petits-enfants.
tout est prévu pour passer un séjour agréable. les propriétaires sont aux petits soins pour leurs vacanciers, à l'écoute sans être indiscrets.

Fil-Ô-Mène Séjour très agréable
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Saint Héand. Le gîte était bien adapté pour la dame en fauteuil roulant que j'accompagnais. La propriétaire du gîte était très accueillante et de bons conseils, par rapport aux activités que nous pouvions faire aux alentours. Encore merci !
