Explore the marked Hiking trails that criss-cross the Hautes Chaumes massif, a Natura 2000 site. Less than a kilometer away is the Chorsin waterfall, in the heart of the Forest. In winter, cross-country skiing is just a few minutes away. For a taste of local produce, try the famous Fourme de Montbrison PDO cheese produced on the farm 300 meters from the Holiday cottage: a rare immersion in farming life. Sauvain, a village of character and Remarkable Site of Taste, invites you to discover authentic flavors and ancestral know-how.

This 75 m² Bungalow, classified 2 épis (ears of corn), is arranged on one level on a raised first floor. It comprises three bedrooms (2 beds 140 cm, 2 beds 120 cm, baby bed on request), a cosy living room with wood-burning fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, raclette machine...), a bathroom with bath, a shower and separate WC. The garden, which is not enclosed, extends over two flower-filled plots planted with trees (300 m² + 400 m²), with swings, a Cabin, a bowling green, badminton courts and woods nearby.Possibility of renting the Spa: whirlpool bath for absolute relaxation. Wi-Fi connection included. Dead-end road for maximum security.

Damien A la ferme
Gîte au cœur d'un ensemble agricole, bien abrité du soleil et globalement bien équipé. Situation parfaite pour rayonner dans une région superbe, riche en paysages et circuits de randonnées. L'accueil est très agréable et le voisinage discret, même si l'activité et les passages d'engins autour de la maison et du petit jardin en saison des foins peuvent logiquement prendre le pas sur le calme et le chant des oiseaux (très présent).

Ce joli gîte, coquet, douillet et convivial, où nous avons été très gentiment accueillis a été une excellente base de départ pour nos randonnées pédestres dans un paysage unique et magnifique (Hautes Chaumes, Vallée de Chorsin, Pierre Bazanne, GR3, etc) et encore préservé du tourisme excessif.

Angel60 Wunderschöner Urlaub in der traumhaften Rhone-Alpe
Wir haben Sie uns sehr wohlgefühlt in dem Haus dass wir für uns allein hatten -
man hat völlig seine Privatsphäre
Schön ist dass wir jeden Abend ein Kaminfeuer machen könnte, da es abends noch
etwas kühl war (Mitte bis Ende Mai)
Großes Kompliment dass sich nicht an den 3 Hunden gestört wurde (2 kleine und ein
mittelgroßer)
Wir achten sehr darauf dass unsere Hunde gepflegt sind und wir alles sehr sauber
hinterlassen, so dass man gar nicht merkt, dass Hunde in der Wohnung waren (weder vom
Geruch noch von den Haaren)
Ein landschaftlich wunderschönes Gebiet, mit malerischen Dörfern, die fast alle Rundum-Panoramablicke bieten
Wir können dies allen Naturliebhabern und Wanderfreunden wärmstens empfehlenEs hat rundum alles gestimmt - und war ein tolles Erlebnis

Annie Séjour à la campagne
Notre séjour au gite de la Fenière des Hautes Chaumes nous a ravis. Petites promenades ou grandes randonnées, tout est possible à proximité immédiate du gîte. L'accueil des propriétaires est très sympathique et lors de la visite de la ferme au moment de la traite, on ressent de suite la passion qui motive ces éleveurs. Quant à la Fourme fabriquée avec le lait des vaches de la ferme, elle est tout simplement grandiose. Nous reviendrons volontiers dans cette belle région, la semaine a été trop courte.
