Housed in a wing of the 13th-century Commanderie de Verrières, a former residence of the Hospitaliers de Saint-Jean-de-Jérusalem, it offers a peaceful interlude in the heart of a Countryside dotted with treasures: nature parks, picturesque villages, towns steeped in history and emblematic Hiking trails such as the Chemin de Saint-Jacques or the Monts du Forez. A Piscine shared with the owners harmoniously completes this exceptional setting.

Staying at La Commanderie de Verrières means soaking up a place steeped in history, while enjoying the bounty of nature. Hikers can follow the paths of the GR765 on the road to Santiago de Compostela, while culture buffs can visit the Renaissance château at La Bâtie d'Urfé or the Cluniac priory at Pommiers.
The rolling Forez countryside, the Loire gorges and the picturesque villages of the surrounding area offer a thousand ways to get away from it all. Here, days unfold at the gentle pace of the Countryside, with walks, swimming and sunsets over the hills.

With its 150 m² of perfectly laid-out space, this spacious Holiday cottage welcomes you in a warm atmosphere. The first floor features a large living room with wood-burning stove, a convivial dining room and a fully-equipped kitchen. Upstairs are four comfortable bedrooms, two with double beds (140 cm) and two with single beds (90 cm), one with en-suite shower room and toilet. A second bathroom completes the first floor. Beds made on arrival and Wi-Fi connection. Outside, a pleasant shaded area opens onto the Countryside, inviting summer meals and relaxation, while the swimming pool shared with the owners on a schedule to be defined according to each person's activities. (4x11 m) promises sweet moments of idleness under the Loire sun. The Holiday cottage is also equipped with a charging station (MONTA platform), so you can pay by credit or debit card.
