La Chouette

In the charming village of Doizieux, perched high in the Pilat Massif, La Chouette welcomes you for a rejuvenating stay. This spacious, light-filled Holiday cottage harmoniously blends ancient stone, exposed beams and contemporary comforts. Calm, nature, sunny terraces and a warm atmosphere make it an ideal place to gather with family or friends.

In the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Pilat, Doizieux is an ideal destination for nature and heritage lovers. From the Holiday cottage, discover the crêts de l'Oeillon and de la Perdrix, classified Natura 2000, or explore the marked trails around the dam. The village's charm is apparent at every turn: typical farmhouses, old mills, wash-house, carved crosses and the square tower visible from the Holiday cottage terrace. A former mill dating from before the French Revolution, the building has been carefully renovated by the owners, respecting ceiling heights, exposed beams and stone walls. The living room opens onto the wooden terrace. Just 10 km from the A47 motorway, this haven of peace is ideally located between Saint-Étienne and Lyon. La Chouette occupies the two upper levels of a former communal building, with the ground floor used by the town hall. It has its own entrance and private exterior.
A special cleaning fee for pets is charged on reservation.

With 180 m² on two levels, this Holiday cottage combines old-world charm with modern comfort. The garden level features an entrance hall, a fitted kitchen opening onto a bright living room and a convivial dining room. The living room opens onto the terrace, perfect for convivial moments overlooking nature. A games area with billiards offers lively evenings, while Kids have a dedicated corner. This level includes a bedroom with a 160cm bed, a shower room, a separate toilet and a laundry room. Upstairs, a mezzanine with TV and games leads to three bedrooms: one with a 160cm bed, one with two 90cm beds (with extra beds), and a third with two 90cm beds and a double mezzanine bed (not suitable for under 6s). A bathroom with walk-in shower, bath and WC completes this level. Parking is available at the foot of the building, with the option of leaving your belongings in front of the Holiday cottage. Beds made on arrival and utilities included.
