Les Ombelles

Bernadette & Patrick are concerned with environmental and ecological issues. Their meals are prepared from fresh, organic produce with a local focus. Products from the garden as well as small-scale farm produce have their place in our kitchen. The Gîte de Groupe is equipped with solar collectors for hot water production, and is a signatory to the Trièves Eco-Tourism Charter.

The Les Ombelles holiday gîte, set in an old Trièves farmhouse, offers a friendly welcome with bed and breakfast. Situated in a hamlet on a balcony on the last Isère slope before the Drôme, in a mountain setting, the view is far-reaching, offering stunning landscapes from the gently undulating Trièves plateau to the mountain pastures, crests and peaks of the Vercors and Dévoluy.
Ideal for hikers, groups or individuals looking for diversified itineraries with unspoilt landscapes in the surrounding massifs, but also for seminars and work meetings in a natural setting, or for families looking for "slow tourism" stays with walks, discovery activities, creative and fun workshops in nature immersion. We welcome you to our table d'hôtes, where we prepare healthy, tasty meals using local produce and garden produce. The Gîte des Ombelles has a capacity of 15 people, 8 bedrooms and a meeting room for seminars and training courses.
