Au cœur du village, le gîte est à proximité des quelques activités villageoises, magasin, librairie, salle polyvalente. On peut partir à pied pour plusieurs randos. Paradoxalement le bémol est son emplacement, en bord de route, à coté de l'arrêt de bus et sans aucune vue. Il faut aimer ou savoir faire abstraction du passage des voitures et camions, agrémentés par les rires des écoliers et les conversations des marcheur.es.
