L'Ancienne Ecole du Villard

The Ancienne École du Villard served as the elementary school in the rural hamlet of Le Villard until the early 1960s. Our house is just a few minutes from the village center, the St Même cirque and the Planolet ski area. The school is now a pretty guest house with 5 comfortable bedrooms with private shower rooms (located on the landing or in the bedroom). The rooms can accommodate 2 people, and a family room sleeps 4. They are located on the 1st and 2nd floors. Depending on the season, breakfasts and meals are served on the terrace, with its panoramic view of the mountains, or by the fireplace. The ideal place for hikers, cyclists, winter sports enthusiasts and motorcyclists! There's a lounge area with board games and a library, wifi access and parking. Numerous outdoor activities in all seasons: downhill or cross-country skiing, hiking, trail running, paragliding, canyoning, climbing, fishing, swimming in the lake or Lac d'Aiguebelette... Nearby: caves, Grande Chartreuse museum, wellness area, leisure center... Table d'hôtes (€27.50 p.p.) and packed lunch (€8.50 p.p.) on reservation. Minimum stay two nights. Dogs not allowed.
