The Ancienne École du Villard served as the elementary school in the rural hamlet of Le Villard until the early 1960s.
Our house is just a few minutes from the village center, the St Même cirque and the Planolet ski area.
The school is now a pretty Bed and breakfast with 5 comfortable rooms with private shower rooms (located on the landing or in the room). Wooded garden of 1900m².
Numerous outdoor activities in all seasons: Alpine or Nordic skiing, Hiking, trail running, paragliding, canyoning, rock climbing, Fishing, swimming in the lake or Lac d'Aiguebelette... Nearby: caves, Grande Chartreuse Museum, Wellbeing area, leisure center...

The rooms can accommodate 2 people. They are located on the 1st and 2nd floors, with private bathrooms in the room or on the landing. Depending on the season, breakfasts and meals are served on the terrace, with its panoramic view of the mountains, or by the fireplace. The ideal place for hikers, cyclists, winter sports enthusiasts and motorcyclists! There's a lounge area with board games and a library, wifi access and private parking, as well as ski and bike storage.
Table d'hôtes (28€50 p.p.) and packed lunch (8€50 p.p.) on reservation. Minimum stay two nights. Dogs not allowed.
