In an environment conducive to relaxation & outdoor activities, characterful Holiday cottage in a tastefully restored former barn, adjoining the owner's residence & the 4-person semi-detached gîte n°5211.
First floor: entrance to 1st floor via interior staircase. Living room, dining room, fully-equipped kitchen area with wood-burning stove (exposed flames). Large shower room with washing machine & hairdryer, wc. Kitchen area with dishwasher, electric oven, extractor hood, microwave, 3 induction hobs, electric kettle and toaster, filter coffee maker. TV/tnt.
2nd floor: landing with relaxation area, wc-washbasin, Bedroom 1 (3 single beds 80x200 cm or 1 double bed and 1 single bed), Bedroom 2 (3 single beds 80x200 cm or 1 double bed and 1 single bed). Underfloor heating (Geothermal heating) & wood-burning stove.
Shared grounds with owner, garden furniture, barbecue.
Ski to Alpe d'Huez or Les 2 Alpes. Quick access to Alpe d'Huez via Allemont Eau d'Olle Express gondola and Oz station.
Free shuttles 300m away to access the gondola. At the gateway to the Ecrins National Park, mountain biking, Hiking, climbing, Fishing. Nearby: water sports center (swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi), Sailing base (pedal boats, windsurfing). Linen, towels and housekeeping included during your stay. Beds made on arrival.

C'est toujours un plaisir de faire découvrir notre vallée à des passionnés de vélo. Et d'avoir pu grimper un col ou deux avec vous c'était la cerise sur le gâteau !

Victoria Wonderful gîte
Our family stayed at La Grange as a base for our skiing week in Vaujany / Alpe d'Huez. The accommodation was super - it has charm & character together with all the necessary modernities for an easy week self-catering. The kitchen was *very* well equipped (often a weak point but not here). The open plan living area was comfortable and cosy with the wood burning stove. Bedrooms were fine - with comfortable mattresses! La Grange was spotlessly clean.
Marc was an excellent host - both discreet and engaging. The cherry on the cake were 2 pet goats who like to get to know the guests as well. Location was calm and beautiful with the bonus of being just a few minutes from the ski access telecabine in Allemond.
