Beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated 56m² gite on the first floor of a renovated former farmhouse. Independent entrance via private terrace. Kitchen opening onto a lovely living room that can be transformed into a sleeping area (160cm or 2 80cm beds), storeroom with storage space, bedroom (1 160x200cm bed separable into 2 single beds), bathroom with walk-in shower, separate toilet. Bed linen and towels provided. Terrace, courtyard with lovely view of Lake Geneva, garden furniture, ski/bike room. Private parking. Numerous activities nearby: Skiing at Hirmentaz/Bellevaux or Les Habères 14km away, cross-country skiing at Col du Feu 5km away. Lac Léman, Thonon-les-Bains spa town 10km, Evian-Les-Bains golf course 20km. Numerous hikes and walks starting from the gîte. 2.5km away, the owners also have a B&B with animals on site (donkey rides).

JMdeNsm Séjour d'une semaine en juillet
Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par les propriétaires, qui ont manifesté une attention particulière en nous apportant un présent de bienvenue pour accompagner un petit déjeuner, ainsi qu'une production de leurs poules. Le gîte est très bien équipé et ne manque de rien. L'endroit est calme, sans aucun bruit, garantissant un repos absolu. La vue sur le lac Léman à partir du site où se trouve le gîte invite à la rêverie et à la sérénité, que ce soit au lever du soleil ou à la tombée du jour. Quant à la région, elle est magnifique, avec de nombreux lieux à visiter et des randonnées à effectuer en altitude sur des sentiers balisés, à condition d'être un bon marcheur pour les plus téméraires.

Brian and Margaret Beautiful gîte, fantastic host
This is a spotlessly clean and well appointed gîte. It is located in a quiet hamlet with friendly neighbours. It is in a beautiful location on the hillside overlooking Lake Leman which is a short 15 minute drive away. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and are full of suggestions to explore the area of whish they are clearly (and rightfully) very proud. We followed their suggestions and had a magnificent week long stay. We used the location to visit Yvoire, Thonons les bains, Montreux in Switzerland and many small alpine villages on both the French and Swiss side of the border. The short trip over the col behind the gîte to the patissierie/boulangerie in Lulins was well worth the visit(s) as suggested by Jaques. In summary, we loved our stay in Orcier and wished it could have been longer.
