Situated on the footpaths, the gîte is ideal for nature lovers looking for a break from the hustle and bustle, and for mountain walkers. Ski-bus shuttle at 700m in season (link to the Grand-Massif). Cross-country skiing available in winter.

Welcome to the Fer-A-Cheval nature reserve, in the heart of the largest Alpine mountain cirque.
Charming 72m2 detached alpine chalet at 1000m altitude, entirely renovated in a warm and authentic spirit.
The chalet is located on the footpaths and has its own private garden and terrace overlooking the mountains and waterfalls of the cirque.
First floor: living room (non-channel-connected TV, with DVD player + films available), fitted kitchen with dining area, shower room (shower, wc), cellar.
Upstairs: bedroom 1 (1 bed 140x190cm + 2 bunk beds 90cm), bedroom 2 (1 bed 140x190cm), separate toilet.
Bed linen and towels included (beds made up on arrival). Electric heating.
Private garden, south-west terrace with garden furniture (table and chairs), deckchairs, parasol and barbecue. Private parking in front of the chalet in summer, and 50m away in winter.
Private ski/bike room in a small cabin attached to the chalet.
Given its location, the chalet has no telephone network (emergency calls only).
In winter, snow clearance is provided to the parking lot 50m away.

Hiking trails available all year round: Le bout du monde, Lac de la Vogealle, alpage de commune, Grenairon.
In winter: cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, dog sledding and toboggan run next to the chalet.
In tourist season, shuttle bus at 700 m: link to the Grand-Massif Express in Samoëns (Grand-Massif ski area).
500 m away: Fer-A-Cheval restaurant (open for lunch in season), sale of regional products.
Local shops in Sixt-Fer-A-Cheval village center 7km away (10 minutes by car): mini-market, bakery, bar, restaurant.
Winter skiing: family resort of Sixt-Fer-A-Cheval 8km away (ski lifts and ski lessons).
Samoëns 15 minutes by car (12km): swimming pool, skating rink, leisure center, shops, restaurants.
Chamonix approx. 1h10 by car.
