Detached 50m² chalet (+16m² attic) on 2 levels, next to the owners' home. Very quiet location.
From October to May, up to 4 people possible (without supplement and on request).
Entrance hall, fitted kitchen opening onto living room (sofa, TV, wood-burning stove with wood included), bay window opening onto terrace-balcony. Shower room / wc.
Duplex, 2 sleeping areas: 1st sleeping area on mezzanine with 1 bed 160x190cm separable into 2 beds 80x190cm. 2nd sleeping area with 1 bed 140x190cm (skylight/opening onto living room).
Bed linen and towels provided, end-of-stay cleaning optional. Shared washing machine in owners' laundry room.
Large terrace-balcony with garden furniture, deckchairs and barbecue. View of the forest. Plot of land.
Private parking. On the property: henhouse, goats... Chalet supplied with spring water (a "green conscience" is required).
The owner is a beekeeper. Beehives and honey house close to gîte.
Bus stop 2km from shops and Annecy town center. Lake Annecy and beaches 6km away. Annecy center (with old town), train station 8km. Numerous hikes (e.g. Mont-Veyrier), walks nearby (departure from the chalet). Skiing: Aravis resorts (Le Grand-Bornand, La Clusaz, Manigod) 27km away, Semnoz (family resort) 22km away. From mid-November to mid-March, a vehicle equipped with snow tires is essential.

Alan Cossey Lovely two weeks
My wife (Sue) and I spent a lovely two weeks here end of July 2024/early August. The gite is situated in a lovely position, being very quiet. Its exact location can be seen at https://what3words.com/juggle.director.likes or https://what3words.com/saluons.gelant.beaucoup.
We were met by Agathe in what turned out to be the only rain of the two weeks and made very welcome. For most of our time there, Isabelle was looking after us. Both are lovely ladies.
The gite itself is lovely, though you do need to mind your head when upstairs as the ceiling is quite low as you reach the top of the stairs. This is shown in the photos of the gite, so it was no surprise. It was a source of merriment on occasion for Sue when I bumped my head while saying out loud, "Mind your head, Alan".
The information on the gite points out that there is no landline internet connection, but we were both able to get a good mobile phone signal so we were able to use that to connect to the internet using a mobile phone as a mobile hotspot without any problem. The TV uses satellite and we were able to watch the Olympics OK.
The area itself is beautiful. Annecy is a few minutes away and a beautiful place. A Carrefour supermarket is about 10 minutes away from the gite and has plenty of choice.We managed to pick a really hot period for our holiday so we tended to come back to gite during the afternoon after going out early, but it was lovely to have so much sunshine. We took a boat out on the Lake, did some walks, visited the Resistance memorials at www.cheminsdememoire.gouv.fr/en/national-monument-resistance-plateau-gl… and www.cheminsdememoire.gouv.fr/index.php/en/les-glieres (deeply thought-provoking) and some other places including Chanaz, as recommended by Agathe (https://en.rumilly-tourisme.com/decouvrir/la-destination/a-moins-dune-h…).
Got quite a few insect bites during the 2 weeks.

Martine Semaine sur les hauteurs d'Annecy
Excellent séjour dans ce chalet très confortable et très bien décoré. Le beau temps nous a permis de profiter pleinement de la superbe terrasse. Le site est un vrai havre de paix. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants. Je recommande sans hésitation.
