Housed in an authentic early 19th-century village house built of volcanic stone and completely renovated, it elegantly combines old-world charm with modern comforts. Situated on a natural plateau at an altitude of almost 1,000 meters, the property enjoys a serene setting amidst volcanic landscapes and the surrounding Countryside. Lovers of nature and wide-open spaces will appreciate the many activities available nearby: Hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, as well as fishing and other outdoor activities just a few kilometers away. The GR®300 (Chemin de Saint-Michel) crosses the area, with the stage linking Aiguilhe to Saint-Jean-de-Nay (22 km - approx. 5 hrs 30 min walk) ideal for touring enthusiasts. Just a few kilometers away, the Allier gorges are ideal for white-water sports, while the summit of La Durande offers a vast panorama of the surrounding countryside and, on a clear day, a view as far as Mont Blanc. Twenty kilometers away, Le Puy-en-Velay boasts emblematic monuments and a rich cultural heritage. You can also enjoy a convivial meal in the village café-restaurant, Le Bystro. At the table, breakfast is a real treat: made entirely from local produce, it honors the region and adapts to individual tastes and preferences, for a smooth start to the day.

The house is accessed directly from the church square. On the first floor, a beautiful living room welcomes guests for breakfast in a friendly atmosphere, with the approval of a wood-burning stove. Free Wi-Fi access is also available. Upstairs, accessible by a staircase adapted for disabled guests, two cosy bedrooms, rented as a whole to the same family or a group of friends, offer all the comforts needed for a peaceful stay. One is equipped with a 140x190 double bed, the other with a 140x200 double bed. The bathrooms, located on the same level, are private and dedicated exclusively to the guests of the two rooms. They include a separate bathroom with a large shower, double washbasin, amenities and toiletries. A bright living room, reserved for guests, completes the spaces: relaxation area with sofa and armchairs, television, work area, mezzanine with library and board games. Outside, an enclosed garden, planted with flowers in summer, allows guests to make the most of fine weather, with garden furniture available. Free parking is available in the immediate vicinity, making this an ideal place to recharge your batteries, combining authenticity, comfort and a gentle pace of life. Rates include breakfast, served either savory or sweet, according to your preferences. If the village restaurant is not open, we can offer you a table d'hôte (€25 per person), featuring home-cooked, friendly, tasty food made from local produce. To enhance your stay, we can also offer workshops on nature-related topics: wild Picking, wild cooking, making syrups or macerating oils, cosmetics workshops or cyanotypes. Fun activities and discoveries about plants and essential oils complete this immersive experience.
