In the heart of a quiet village (10 inhabitants in the village), this large detached house comprises 2 adjoining gîtes. This one combines modern comforts with a typical interior. Its vast living room is organized around the inglenook fireplace and communicates with the 300 m² enclosed grassed courtyard. The very old house is very cool in summer. The village is home to a Romanesque priory with beautiful frescoes. Many tourist attractions nearby Nearby: Chavaniac-Lafayette 6 km away (château, botanical conservatory), La Chaise-Dieu 15 km away (abbey church, sacred music festival), the Allier and its water sports 15 km away (at Langeac), Brioude (a remarkable stopover 15 km away with its magnificent church and ancient streets). Allègre 19 km away (medieval town, gallows, Mont Bar, museum). Le Puy (40 km) is well worth a day's visit. All shops and services in Paulhaguet (4 km). Several lively markets: Mondays in Paulhaguet, Tuesdays and Thursdays in Langeac, Saturdays in Brioude and Le Puy.
