Les Kolopins

Less than an hour and a half from Lyon and 2 hours from Clermont-Ferrand, in the heart of the countryside but close to the department's main roads, lies the village of Grazac. At "Les planchettes", Vanessa and Remi welcome you for a comfortable stay in their gîte "Les Kolopins". This old farmhouse has just been tastefully renovated to make it the ideal place for vacations with friends or family: a huge living room with a fully-equipped kitchen and a sitting room opening onto the country side, bedrooms with private bathrooms, some of which are accessible to people with reduced mobility, and a reception room available for large events! Outside, there's something for everyone: a pétanque court, ping-pong table, volleyball or badminton net and a heated indoor swimming pool! Please note that the pool will be closed during the winter period from November 1 to March 31. On-site activities: rest and relaxation, numerous hiking and biking trails! Nearby attractions include the Gorges du Lignon Himalayan footbridge (Europe's longest), the Lavalette water sports center, the Velay Express steam train, the Velay velorail and much more! A little further afield: discover the nuggets of the Haute-Loire: the town of Le Puy en Velay and its many UNESCO World Heritage buildings, the grandiose landscapes of the Mezenc plateau, or the young gorges of the Loire! Rates are all-inclusive: bed linen, towels, cleaning and utilities (for normal use). Possibility of renting Hifi equipment and video projector: 50€.

Outside: You'll arrive at the "rear" of the house, where a large private parking lot is at your disposal. The house is set in approx. 5000m² of enclosed, secure grounds, while the front of the house offers a number of leisure facilities (heated indoor swimming pool, table tennis, pétanque court.... ) and a large terrace.
Inside: the entrance to the gîte is via a hall that opens onto the living area, which features a large living room, a magnificent fully-equipped kitchen and a living room with a very large dining table! A laundry room and toilet complete the space.
Still on the ground floor, you'll find the first sleeping area, comprising 4 double bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities and large enough to accommodate people with reduced mobility.
The second floor of the house is accessible via a staircase and elevator! It comprises a new sleeping area with 2 bedrooms and en-suite facilities. The first is a family room with a 140cm bed and 2 90cm beds, while the second has 6 90cm beds, two of which are on the mezzanine.
The remainder of this floor is dedicated to the reception area, accessible from inside or outside. A beautiful room for up to 80 people, with a pantry, is available for family celebrations, seminars or as an activity room.

The reception room will not be rented on its own if the gîte is occupied by holidaymakers.
Possibility of renting the room alone out of season and out of weekends 400€ per day.

The swimming pool will be closed in winter, from November 1st to March 31st.
The managers may need to intervene in the pool during your stay.
The network is weak in the house, but wifi is available.
