Le Refuge de Mazard

Just 2 hours from Clermont-Ferrand and 1h30 from Lyon, in the heart of a small, peaceful hamlet in the commune of St Jeures, Cédric and Lauren open the doors of their Holiday cottage: Le Refuge de Mazard. Housed in an old, renovated family farmhouse, this Holiday cottage promises a timeless break in an environment of absolute peace and quiet. The house is surrounded by a vast plot of land, bordered by forests, which you'll enjoy in every season. In spring, you can relax to the sound of birdsong; in summer, you can enjoy pleasantly mild temperatures; and in winter, you can play in the snow! Designed to accommodate up to 6 people, the house has 3 comfortable bedrooms, perfect for a stay with family or friends, in a warm and soothing atmosphere. There's plenty to do nearby: Hiking and mountain biking from the cottage, discovering the landscapes of the plateau, walks in the Forest, mushroom picking in season... Nature lovers will also appreciate the unspoilt sites in the surrounding area, ideal for getting away from it all and relaxing. Just a few kilometers away, you can also take advantage of local markets, the heritage of the Haut-Lignon and a host of activities: steam tourist train, Himalayan footbridge, climbing sites, water sports centers... For your comfort, rates include cleaning, bed linen and towels, utilities (on departure, please leave the Holiday cottage in a clean and tidy condition, electricity consumption included is 16KwH per day). The Holiday cottage is equipped with baby equipment: crockery, bed, bath, high chair, deckchair, stroller, etc...

The house is set in a large unfenced plot (5000m2) with plenty of parking space. The first floor comprises a living room with open-plan kitchen and sitting area, and a toilet. On the second floor, you'll find 3 bedrooms, the first with a 160cm bed, the other 2 with 2 90cm beds each. There's also a shed where you can store your sporting equipment (bikes, skis, etc.).
