Le Gîte de St Victor

1 hour from Lyon, and 30 minutes from St Etienne, in a small village nestled in the heart of lush, unspoilt countryside is the Gîte de St Victor! This old village house, built on a beautiful wooded and enclosed plot, has just been completely renovated to make it a cosy, modern and comfortable vacation home! The owners have taken great care to give this house a new lease of life: the decoration is modern, the equipment is complete and the spaces are pleasantly arranged. Don't hesitate, come and discover the Gîte de St Victor, you're sure to enjoy your stay! On site: rest, discover the charming village, and the local flora and fauna along the hiking trails... A little further afield: The area is rich in activities of all kinds: swimming and other aquatic activities at the Lavalette or Aurec sur Loire water sports centers, more cultural activities with a visit to the Cité du Design in St Etienne or Lecorbusier in Firminy, or sporting activities: climbing, via ferrata etc. A little further afield: 1 hour's drive north to the famous city of Lyon, and 1 hour's drive south to the more intimate town of Le Puy en Velay. All-inclusive rates: towels, bed linen, cleaning and utilities (subject to a reasonable consumption of 15kwh/day). Please note that pets are welcome in this accommodation, but are not allowed in the rooms.

The entrance to the house is on the street side (with private parking for one car).
The living area comprises a kitchen with a living room and a sitting area offering a magnificent view of the garden. A laundry room with toilet completes this level.
In the half-basement, you'll find a pretty room fitted out as a games room and library, with two 90cm trundle beds.
On the second floor, you'll find three bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and bath.
The first two bedrooms are equipped with a double bed (140cm), while the 3rd has two single beds (140cm), one of which is located on the mezzanine floor (less than 1m80 under the ceiling).
The house has a lovely plot of approx. 400m², adjoining another small house owned by the owner and not occupied.
For sports enthusiasts, the owners provide a small family garage to store your equipment (bicycles, etc.).
NB The size of the garage does not allow parking for a car.

No parties, stag parties or other events in the gîte!

Cleaning is included in the price, but before you leave, you will be asked to empty the garbage cans and dishwasher, put away any misplaced items, unmake the beds, rinse the toilets and clean the tables.
