La porte du Chardonnet

Looking for a farm vacation in a quiet, family-friendly ski resort? On the Mezenc plateau, just a stone's throw from the Haute Ardèche, lies the village of Les Estables, offering a gentle way of life in summer and winter alike. On the ground floor of Cathy and Bernard's farm, you'll find the gîte "La Porte du Chardonnet". This magnificent chalet-style apartment is extremely comfortable. It's fully equipped, and the living areas are very pleasant. Outside, you'll enjoy a lovely terrace, set in landscaped grounds planted with flowers. Cathy and Bernard will share with you their passion for their profession through a visit to their cowshed, but also for outdoor sports such as mountain biking, road biking, cross-country skiing and Nordic hiking. Children can sign up for the various farm workshops offered by Cathy and Bernard: -pony trekking -pony care -visit and family pancake snack with delicious hay jams and syrups -Little farmer workshop -Little farmer workshop And there's plenty for older children too: -Visit "fin gras du Mezenc", a PDO meat, and aperitif with farm produce "on en fait tout un foin". Donkey rental for full-day, half-day or bivouac outings. -Depending on the season, accompanied outings to discover the local flora and architecture. All activities must be booked in advance, for a fee. In the village, don't miss the chance to savor the local flavors: cheese, charcuterie, Mezenc PDO fin gras meat, hay beer... Numerous shops: bakery, butcher's shop, honey shop, herbalist's shop, mini-market, newsagent, gas station, post office, tourist office, electric recharging point, sledges, scooters, electric bikes for hire...

Located on the first floor of the owners' house, the Holiday cottage has its own entrance.

The entrance opens onto a hall where you can store your Hiking, Ski and other equipment.

The living room comprises a fully-equipped kitchen and a sitting area.

There are 2 comfortable bedrooms: one with a 140cm bed, the second with a 140cm bed and a 90cm bed.

There's also a bathroom with shower and toilet.
