La Petite Maison

The gîte, La petite Maison, is ideally situated on a property in the heart of nature, a stone's throw from the town of Le Puy and the shops of Vals-près-le-Puy. It opens onto a hilly landscape planted with trees. The charm of this restful country setting lies in its warm, cozy interior and large terrace, where you can relax and recharge your batteries in the midst of nature. From the Gîte, you can admire the landscapes that make Velay so unique, for example by joining the Voie Verte, a path reserved for pedestrians and cyclists, which follows the route of an old railroad line. From Le Puy-en-Velay, you can also discover some remarkable natural sites: Polignac, the Gorges de la Loire, the Monts du Meygal, the Mézenc, the Gorges de l'Allier... There are many walks, excursions and sporting activities that will allow you to soak up the peace and quiet of nature. One of the gîte's assets is its proximity to the town center and easy access to cultural activities. Numerous seasonal events bring the town to life, the best-known being the Fêtes du Roi de L'oiseau in September, a reminder of its rich Renaissance past. In addition to the special location of the old town, which you can discover by strolling around, there are many attractive monuments: the Cathedral with its unique facade, the Chapel of St Michel, the former Hôtel-Dieu... all set in a UNESCO World Heritage site. More broadly, we hope you'll be seduced by the wilderness, where the volcanic stone is highlighted by the colors of each season, and by a land where history is written in the narrow streets of the Old Town, as well as on the paths of St Jacques de Compostelle, Stevenson or the Régordane (linking Le Puy-en-Velay and St Gilles du Gard). A little something extra: Each season, we invite you to discover an artist whose work we find inspiring. The walls of La Petite Maison are their showcase.

Access is via the pleasant south-facing terrace. The living room is divided into two areas: a cozy sitting area with TV, and a dining area with table, bar and beautifully crafted fitted kitchen. A sliding door gives access to the sanitary area, comprising a separate toilet, a pleasant shower room and storage space.
Two bedrooms make up this property, a double with a view to the west and a twin with two twin beds and a view of the rising sun.

Because they like to welcome guests as they do their friends, your hosts offer you an all-inclusive package (heating, electricity, sheets, towels, cleaning).
Internet access by wifi or cable (ask for connection).

The all-inclusive price includes: bed linen and towels for the stay, end-of-stay cleaning (excluding crockery and rubbish), heating and electricity with reasonable consumption - if the gîte is heated electrically, you will have 15 Kwh per day (any excess will be paid on site to the hosts).
