La passerelle

1H30 from Clermont-Ferrand and Lyon and 3H from Montpellier, on the outskirts of the town of Le Puy-en-Velay, lies the medieval village of Polignac. At the foot of the fortress, in the heart of the old village, Dominique and Cécile open the doors of "La passerelle", a recently restored village house. Adjoining their home and with its own entrance, this cosy dwelling is the perfect place to spend evenings with family or friends (your hosts will be delighted to share their love of board games). Situated on the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago de Compostela, this gîte is also the ideal starting point for numerous attractions for lovers of heritage or outdoor activities. Want to discover the Haute-Loire? La passerelle is the perfect base for exploring our beautiful region. On site: discover the medieval village, visit the fortress (many activities), take a walk on the footpaths (footpaths and Chemin de St Jacques in front of the gîte), mountain bike. Just a few minutes away by car or public transport: visit the town of Le Puy-en-Velay and its many UNESCO World Heritage monuments, discover the exceptional site of the Ravins de Corboeuf, numerous sporting activities... Even further afield, the gîte's central location means you can explore the whole of the département: discover the Mézenc plateau, the Allier valley or the remarkable village of La Chaise-Dieu.

"La Passerelle is a village house in the heart of the medieval village of Polignac.
On the ground floor, you'll find a living room with a well-equipped kitchen and a sitting area where you can spend cosy evenings by the stove.
The second floor, accessed by a spiral staircase, comprises a double bedroom with a 140x190 bed, and a second double bedroom with 2 90x190 beds. A bathroom with walk-in shower completes this level.
Finally, on the 2nd floor, you'll find a third double bedroom with a 140cm bed and a second shower room with toilet;
Located next to the church of Saint Martin, a listed historic monument dating from the 11th century, the apartment has no outside grounds, but is served by an extremely quiet cul-de-sac.
For your convenience, rates include bed linen, towels, utilities and cleaning (the Holiday cottage must be returned in a clean and tidy condition: dishes put away, dustbins emptied, bathroom facilities and tables cleaned).
