La Martourette

Just 2 hours from Clermont-Ferrand, 1h45 from Lyon, 1h from Saint-Étienne and 15 minutes from Le Puy-en-Velay lies the village of Malrevers. It's here, at the foot of the Suc de Mercoeur and close to the N88, that Georges and his wife have taken it upon themselves to renovate the former barn of a beautiful stone house into a welcoming, modern and well-equipped Holiday cottage. Semi-detached house, it offers all the comforts you need for a pleasant stay. You'll enjoy a terrace as well as a large outdoor space for convivial moments with friends or family. On site: Hiking trails including the PR665, which ends at the summit of Suc de Mercoeur overlooking the Emblavez plain and offering a breathtaking view of the Meygal volcanoes. You'll also discover the remains of Mercoeur castle along the way. Bakery in Malrevers. Nearby: Chaspinhac and the ruins of the village of Saint Quentin, Rosières with the Corboeuf ravine, Cleyssac and its listed cross, St julien du Pinet where you'll discover the Moulin du Pinard, Lavoûte-sur-Loire with the Château de Lavoûte-Polignac, the Centre Aqua Passion and the via Fluvia, Beaulieu with its educational farm, its sport shooting range and the Fishing pond at La Plaine, Yssingeaux with its large weekly Thursday morning Market, the City of Le Puy-en-Velay with its many UNESCO World Heritage monuments and its weekly Saturday market, Polignac and its fortress... A little further afield: the whole of the department: the Loire Gorges, the Lake at the Lavalette dam and its Base de loisirs, the Allier gorges and the Mezenc plateau... The landscapes of Haute-Loire are sure to delight you! Shops and services in Rosières (5 km) or Blavozy (7 km).

As you enter the accommodation, you'll appreciate the spaciousness of the living room. It's pleasantly furnished. There's a comfortable living room, a fully-equipped kitchen and a dining table for enjoying meals together.
On the same level, you'll find a laundry room and a toilet.

On the 1st floor, you'll find two double bedrooms and a 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds (possibility of a 3rd bed at an extra cost of €50).
There's also a lounge for relaxing and reading.
On the same floor, you'll find a pleasant bathroom, a dressing room, a toilet and a second shower room.

Outside, you'll enjoy a terrace, adjoining that of the house next door, and a large courtyard to the side of the house.

All-inclusive rates include: bed linen and towels for the stay, end-of-stay cleaning (however, the gite must be tidy, dustbins and dishwasher emptied, bed linen grouped together in the same place, and bathrooms must be in a good state of cleanliness), heating and electricity within the limit of reasonable consumption (16Kwh/day) - any excess will be paid to the owners on site.
