The river is just 200 m away, providing cool, relaxing water (swimming not supervised). With its large terrace (40 m²) and enclosed courtyard (180 m²), the gîte is ideal for families with children (baby equipment, indoor and outdoor games, small stone hut outside...). Nearby amenities: St-Ilpize 3 km away (village, castle remains), La Vialette beach 3 km away, with bar-grill, tennis court and children's playground. Blassac 5 km (church and wall paintings), Lavoûte-Chilhac 7 km (Cluniac priory, bridge over the Allier, whitewater sports, shops, services), Brioude 15 km away (basilica, old town, lace hotel, salmon house, weekly market).
