La grange de Bazen

1h30 from Lyon and Clermont-Ferrand, 5 minutes from the center of Le Puy-Velay, in lovely wooded countryside, you'll find La Grange de Bazen. Raymond and Noëlle open the doors of this outbuilding of their home, which they have completely renovated to welcome you for a stay to discover the city of Le Puy-Velay! Situated on a vast plot of land shared with the owners, the layout of this cottage is extremely well laid out. The living spaces are comfortable, and the decoration is meticulous: vintage objects, revamped antique furniture and modern materials give this gîte a cocooning feel. Locally: You can enjoy the peace and quiet of the area, as well as the distractions of country life (collecting eggs, picking fresh vegetables from the vegetable garden) and hiking on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela. A little further afield: discover La Chapelle St Michel d'Aiguilhe perched on a Dyke (volcanic chimney), the town of Le Puy en Velay, with its many events and Unesco World Heritage buildings, the village of Polignac, etc. A little further afield: Aiguilhe is the ideal location from which to explore the whole of the Haute-Loire: Brivadois, Gévaudan, the Allier and Loire gorges, the Mezenc plateau - the landscapes of the Haute-Loire are sure to delight you!

The entrance to the gîte is via the main room, which includes a fully-equipped kitchen and a sitting area. A bedroom with a 140cm bed, bathroom and toilet complete this floor.
A miller's ladder gives access to a mezzanine with a study area and an additional 90cm bed.

The gîte is located on the owners' property, but has its own parking space and private terrace.

You can arrive and leave any day of the week.

All-inclusive price includes: bed linen and towels for the stay, cleaning at the end of the stay (however, the gite must be tidy, the garbage cans and dishwasher emptied, the bed linen grouped together in the same place, and the sanitary facilities must be in a good state of cleanliness), heating and electricity within the limit of reasonable consumption (16Kwh/day) - any excess must be paid to the owners on site.
