1 hour from Clermont-Ferrand and close to the A75 motorway on the Allier gorges, lies the village of Langeac... To get there, the road is not passable in wet weather, so you may have to walk the last 150 meters. Once there, you'll be seduced by the breathtaking view over the valley, countryside and surrounding forests! On-site activities: Relaxation and nature observation, walks or hikes starting from the gîte (close to the St Jacques de Compostelle pilgrimage route, among others). Nearby: The village of Langeac (all shops), white-water activities on the Allier, fishing, tourist train... A little further afield: the legendary village of Saugues, Brioude and its listed basilica, the town of Le Puy en Velay and its many UNESCO World Heritage monuments...

On approx. 3 Ha of land, this former vineyard house has been converted on the ground floor into a living room with kitchenette area. Upstairs, a bedroom with two beds (one on a mezzanine, ceiling height 1m) and a shower cubicle with direct access to the outside. Dry toilets about 20 m from the house.
This dwelling is equipped with a solar panel system feeding a battery, making it self-sufficient in terms of electricity consumption, so you'll need to be particularly careful not to forget any lights or leave any electrical appliances on for too long.
