Welcome to the Biel farm. Nestled at an elevation of 870 meters in the Haute-Loire region, this renovated historic farmhouse is ideal for a peaceful summer family vacation or a telework stay in the great outdoors. With its 1,500-square-meter fenced-in yard and 1.5 hectares of adjoining meadow, let your pets and kids play freely and enjoy the great outdoors. Catherine and Patrick extend a warm welcome and share their knowledge and love of the region with their guests. One hour from Lyon and 30 minutes from Saint-Étienne lies the village of Saint-Pal-de-Mons; “La Ferme de Biel” is located in Lichemiaille, a hamlet in the heart of the Countryside. Set on a fully enclosed and secure 1,500-square-meter property surrounded by a 1.5-hectare meadow, this renovated former farmhouse is the ideal spot for a peaceful summer family vacation or a “telework” getaway. The winter magic surrounding the holiday season makes for unforgettable stays. Long weekends and spring or fall breaks are the perfect opportunity to recharge in this place where life is so good. On-site activities: whether on foot, horseback, or by bike, set out to explore the many hiking trails... Located near two equestrian centers, “Au champ d’Epona” and “Le Buisson,” as well as the Velay Rail Bike and the Via Fluvia Greenway. Activities just a few minutes’ drive away: explore the Loire Gorges, Rochebaron Castle, or the Lavalette Dam and its Nautical Base, the Domaine du Meygal. And don’t forget to cross France’s largest Himalayan-style footbridge in the Lignon Gorges at Grazac, as well as to enjoy the Velay Express, a steam train departing from Raucoules, Tence, Le Chambon-sur-Lignon, and St. Agrève, which will take you on a unique journey at the leisurely pace of trains of yesteryear through the Velay Plateau, the Lignon Gorges, and the St. Agrève region. And a little further on, you’ll enjoy exploring the magnificent city of Le Puy-en-Velay and its many buildings listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

This renovated former farmhouse is spread over three levels:
- The ground floor features a living area with a beautiful kitchen, centered around a granite fireplace. A full bathroom completes this level.
- The first floor features three bedrooms: two double bedrooms and one bedroom with two Twin beds.
- Finally, the top floor features a TV lounge and a fourth bedroom equipped with a 90-cm bed and a desk, providing a dedicated space for remote work.

For babies and young children, parents will find all the necessary equipment in this holiday cottage, including a foldable bed, changing table, playpen, stroller, high chair, etc.
