Welcome to the volcanic plateau! Just 2 hours from Lyon and Clermont-Ferrand, in the southern Auvergne, in the village of Le Bouchet-Saint-Nicolas, Céline and her father Jean Pierre have magnificently renovated a family home, turning it into a welcoming and refined vacation home. This traditional farmhouse built of local volcanic stone has been transformed into a haven of peace. A skilful blend of period features and modern materials, the layout of the house is designed to make everyone feel at ease: the living spaces are spacious, the decoration is meticulous and the layout is comfortable. Staying at Gîte Sidonie also means enjoying a wellness area with spa for 6 people, a games room with table soccer and a magnificent garden with petanque games! Many activities are possible in the vicinity of the gîte: you can hike along the Chemin de Steevenson, which passes right in front of the house, discover the Lac du Bouchet (swimming in summer) or visit the many villages in the Allier and Loire valleys.
