Gîte Nature Les Papillons des Sucs

Just 2 hours from Clermont-Ferrand, 1 hour 45 minutes from Lyon and 30 minutes from Saint-Étienne, lies Saint-Maurice-de-Lignon and, more precisely, the village of Maubourg, a green setting in the heart of the Pays des Sucs. It's here, right next to France's longest Himalayan footbridge, that Les Papillons des Sucs is located. This environmentally-friendly chalet was built on Katy and Laurent's property. Also owners of a chambre d'hôtes, they'll be delighted to welcome you and help you enjoy a pleasant stay in their accommodation. In the immediate vicinity of the gîte: the Maubourg estate with its castle, the Saint-Maurice-de-Lignon Himalayan footbridge, numerous hiking and mountain-biking trails, discovery of the Lignon gorges classified NATURA 2000, fishing... A little further afield: horse riding, rock climbing, accrobranche, Via Ferrata, Chambon-sur-Lignon golf course, the squirrel adventure trail at Chambon-sur-Lignon, Lac de Lavalette at Lapte, the town of Bas-en-Basset with the Château de Rochebaron, the Musée de la Fabrique at Ste-Sigolène, the town of Retournac with the Musée de la Dentelle, the town of Le Puy-en-Velay and its many UNESCO World Heritage buildings... The entrance to the gîte is into the living room with its fully-equipped kitchen. You'll also find the double bedroom, shower room and WC. On the mezzanine, you'll find two single beds.
