Gîte du Mont Rouge

The charming village of Queyrières is 1h30 from Lyon and 2H from Clermont-Ferrand! In the heart of the hamlet of Le Mas, Leslie and Stevens open the doors of the Holiday cottage du Mont Rouge, a former coaching inn which they have recently renovated to combine modern comfort with authentic old-world charm. The setting is peaceful, and the Holiday cottage is nestled in greenery, making it an ideal place to recharge your batteries in the heart of nature. The surrounding area is a delight for outdoor enthusiasts: Hiking around the volcanic outcrops or on the Chemin de St Jacques de Compostelle, cycling, mushroom picking in season, or swimming in the rivers and natural lakes. Nearby, don't miss Lake Bleu, the Meygal, or the charming village of Saint-Julien-Chapteuil. In winter, snowshoeing and Nordic skiing are just a few kilometers away at Raffy. A great place to discover the Haute-Loire in a different way, combining nature, heritage and relaxation.

When you arrive at the Holiday cottage, at the back of the house, you'll find parking for 6 vehicles.
At the front of the house, you'll find a courtyard with typical local calades.
The entrance to the house opens onto a vast hall with lounge area, laundry room and water point.
On the ground floor, you'll find a vast living room with fitted kitchen, large dining table and sitting area, a large vaulted bedroom and a first shower room with toilet.
The second floor features 2 double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms.
Lastly, the third floor features a "walk-through double bedroom" that doubles as an office, and a large dormitory for 6 people (2 x 140cm beds and 2 x 90cm beds).
Finally, there's a large "gaming room" opening onto the terrace.
