Gîte du Charron

In the heart of the Val d'Allier, in a quiet area, the charming village of St Ilpize offers a rich and varied panorama combining waterways, vast meadows, forests and hiking trails, in a mild and very sunny climate. Remarkable for its architecture, the medieval village was built around an 11th-century castle and chapel, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. The house is located in the heart of the village of Channat, which offers a splendid view of the Allier valley and the Monts de la Margeride. Activities in the immediate vicinity: Visit the village, fishing, canoeing and white-water rafting on the Allier, hiking, museum of the Ribeyre grape variety conservatory... A few kilometers away: Chilhac paleontology museum, the remarkable villages of Brioude and Lavoulte Chilhac, the Ally plateau and its mills, Lavaudieu Benedictine abbey. A little further afield: 45 minutes from the town of Le Puy-en-Velay and its many Unesco World Heritage buildings.

A few steps lead up to the balcony giving access to the gîte. Built on a single level, the house is very functional.
The 20m² living room includes a kitchen, dining area and sitting area.
The sleeping area comprises two bedrooms (13 and 11m²), each with a double bed, a 4m² shower room and separate toilet.

Outside, you'll benefit from a small terrace with flowers in addition to the balcony.
