Gîte des remparts

1h from Clermont-Ferrand, 2h from Lyon and less than 3h from Montpellier, at the crossroads of the Limagne plain and the Livradois mountains lies Auzon. This magnificent hillside village is home to Holiday cottage des Remparts. Claude and Monique, the owners, have just completely renovated this cosy, contemporary and comfortable accommodation, making it the ideal resting place for a vacation exploring the treasures of the Auvergne! On site: Wander the narrow village streets, discovering medieval gates, towers and other vestiges... A little further afield: Follow the Countryside roads that will take you through some magnificent villages: Brioude, Lempdes sur Allagnon, Champagnac le Vieux, St Beauzire or Blesle... Discover the joys of swimming in a lake or river... Take advantage of the various outdoor activities: canoeing, rafting, tree-climbing, etc. And a little further afield, the City of Le Puy en Velay with its many UNESCO World Heritage buildings, the Puy de Dôme, the Puy de Sancy etc. For your convenience, our rates are all-inclusive: electricity, bed linen, towels and cleaning.

On the second floor of the house, access to the Holiday cottage is via a terrace under which you can shelter your vehicle. The living area comprises a lovely kitchen, living room and sitting area with TV. The sleeping area comprises two bedrooms, a bathroom and a toilet.

The basement is equipped with a laundry area.

In the attic, you'll find a sitting area with a convertible sofa that can be used as an extra bed (for Kids or occasional use), a games area with table soccer, and a library. The highlight of this level is the superb, spacious and luminous master suite, which adds real comfort to your stay.

The all-inclusive price includes: bed linen and towels for the stay, end-of-stay cleaning (excluding dishes and rubbish), heating and electricity with reasonable consumption - if the cottage is heated electrically, you have 15 Kwh per day (any excess must be paid on site to the hosts).
