Gite des hirondelles

1h30 from Lyon and Clermont-Ferrand, close to major roads, lies the village of St Germain Laprade, in the hamlet of Marnhac, where you'll find the "Gîte des hirondelles". Adjoining the house of the owners, Michel and Lucienne, this gîte is suitable for all types of stays and will be the ideal pied-à-terre for a business trip or a family vacation. Centrally located in the department, it's the perfect base from which to explore the many nuggets of the Haute-Loire. From the gîte: numerous signposted hiking trails, discover the countryside.... Just a few minutes away by car: the town of Le Puy en Velay and its many Unesco World Heritage buildings, the village of St Julien Chapteuil with its many restaurants, its remarkable Romanesque church and the remains of its ancient castle. A little further afield: discover the Mezenc plateau, the Loire or Allier gorges, etc...

Set in enclosed grounds of approx. 1000m² shared with the owners, this house features typical '80s architecture and is arranged over three floors. The living area is on the second floor, but you have free access to a laundry room on the first floor.

The second floor features a kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom with toilet. The third floor comprises a beautiful attic bedroom and a shower room with toilet.

The price includes: bed linen (not made up), towels for the stay, cleaning at the end of the stay (excluding dishes and rubbish), heating and electricity with reasonable consumption - if the gîte is heated electrically, you will have 15 Kwh per day (any excess will be paid on site to the hosts).
