Gîte de Saint Esteve

1h30 from Lyon and Clermont-Ferrand, 20 minutes from the center of Le Puy-Velay in the small village of St Etienne Lardeyrol, is the gîte de St Esteve. Michel opens the doors of his childhood home, which he has just completely renovated, to welcome you for a stay of discovery in the Haute-Loire! Situated on a vast plot of land, the house is functional and well laid out. The living spaces are comfortable, and the soft, well-cared-for decor gives this gîte a cocooning feel. On site: You can enjoy the calm of the area and the distractions of country life by going for a walk on the many hiking trails! You'll appreciate the proximity of a small village grocery store, a somewhat atypical place that plays a major role in the village's liveliness! A little further afield: discover La Chapelle St Michel d'Aiguilhe perched on a Dyke (volcanic chimney), the town of Le Puy en Velay, with its many events and Unesco World Heritage buildings, the village of Polignac, etc. A little further afield: From the gîte, you can explore the whole of the département: Brivadois, Gévaudan, Gorges de l'Allier or de la Loire, Plateau du Mezenc - the landscapes of Haute-Loire are sure to delight you! The gîte is located on the second floor of a house (basement not occupied but not accessible to guests). The entrance hall leads to a laundry room with storage space and the house's living areas. The fully-equipped kitchen opens onto a living room and sitting area. A shower room and WC complete this landing.
The second floor is devoted to the sleeping quarters. 5 double bedrooms and a bathroom with toilet. 3 bedrooms have 160 x 200 beds, one has 2 90 x 200 beds, and the last bedroom has 2 bunk beds, also 90 x 200.
