Gîte de l'atelier

1 hour from Lyon and 2 hours from Clermont-Ferrand, in a hamlet in the countryside, you'll find the "Gîte de l'atelier". Didier, the owner, has transformed his former carpentry workshop into a comfortable vacation home for up to 15 people! The atmosphere is resolutely modern and warm! Today's high-quality materials, restored antique furniture and fine woodwork are skilfully combined to create a "modern country" decor. The highlight of this accommodation is undoubtedly the "net" seating area above the living room, which will delight young and old alike! Nearby activities: Himalayan footbridge in the Gorges du Lignon, numerous hiking and biking trails. Base nautique du barrage de Lavalette 8km (swimming, sailing, pedal boats...). Tourist train with steam locomotive at Raucoules 12 km Yssingeaux 9 km, with shops, cinema, bowling alley, tourist office and numerous restaurants. Via Fluvia (greenway) 200 m away, Accrobranche 5 km away, Domaine de la Rouveure, Vélo rail in Dunières 19 km, numerous rivers for fishing. The entrance opens onto the 75m² living room, comprising a kitchen, a living area and a sitting area opening onto a terrace and the large grounds.
Two bedrooms, a shower room with toilet, a laundry room and a shower room suitable for people with reduced mobility complete this level.
On the second floor, you'll find a third bedroom, a dormitory, a mezzanine area and a shower room with toilet.
The owners also provide a room for storing bicycles or other bulky equipment.

The gîte has a large plot of land with a terrace on the living room side, as well as a play area at the front of the house (pétanque, soccer and volleyball fields), which may be shared with the tenants of a second adjoining gîte.


Both gîtes (adjoining but not communicating) can be rented for large groups.

All-inclusive rates: Household linen, bath towels, bed linen, cleaning and utilities (within the limit of a reasonable and reasonable consumption not exceeding 15Kwh per day).
