Overlooking the Velay region, the thatched-roof hamlet of Bigorre seems out of time. You'll be welcomed into a page of local history. This former family farmhouse is adjoined to the owner's holiday home, which is also sometimes rented as a Holiday cottage. It has independent access, a private, delimited but unfenced plot (1000 m²), a shaded terrace and parking. Local attractions include a visit to the thatched-roof village of Bigorre, Hiking, shops and outdoor activities in St-Front (7 km), Les Estables (12 km) (accrobranche, pony trekking, cani-rando, mountain biking, rock climbing), listed monuments in Le Puy-en-Velay (25 km). A daily Market in the vicinity.

    Expérience très positive à tous points de vue.

    Séjour très agréable dans la chaumière chez Yolande. Nous y avons apprécié la simplicité confortable du gite, la quiétude magique du lieu, sa situation extraordinaire, l'accueil chaleureux et bienveillant de Yolande . Nos échanges ont permis également de mieux comprendre l'histoire de ce lieu. Une pause très ajustée à nos besoins du moment .

    Bel environnement

    Maison au calme complet - emplacement super car très belle vue !

    Propriétaire aux petits soins.

    Le bémol pour moi est un RDC (cuisine, salle à manger) très très sombre ; maison ancienne donc peu d'ouvertures - l'architecture est ainsi des bâtisses anciennes - un peu glacial et humide - un pan de mur du RDC enterré - heureusement le feu de cheminée en fin de journée y pallie.

    Très beau gîte avec une vue splendide.

    Très beau gîte confortable et agréable à vivre au quotidien.
    Le calme autour gîte et les vues splendides environnantes sont des atouts non négligeables.
    Yolande est une hôte accueillante ayant le souci du bien-être de ses locataires.

    Merveilleux gîte

    Yolande nous a accueillis avec beaucoup de gentillesse dans son gîte. Nous y avons passé une semaine très reposante, loin du bruit et de l'agitation. La maison est ravissante et confortable, le paysage aux alentours merveilleux. Nous serions ravis de pouvoir revenir.
