Around 1h50 from Lyon and Clermont-Ferrand and 1h from Saint-Étienne, the Holiday cottage is located in a quiet street in the lower part of the City, in the historic center of Le Puy-en-Velay. Situated on the 4th floor of an old 14th-century hostelry and served by a beautiful staircase, this apartment is a judicious marriage of the Middle Ages and modernity. The owners will welcome you in a charming apartment, comfortably furnished and very well equipped for a pleasant stay. The centerpiece: a skylight in the center of the apartment that illuminates it and reveals its cachet. You'll love the high ceilings, spacious dining room and living room with views of the cathedral facade and narrow cobbled streets, and the UNESCO World Heritage Notre-Dame du Puy cathedral, the starting point of the GR65 pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela, the Corneille rock with its colossal statue of Notre-Dame de France, and the Aiguilhe rock with its Saint Michel chapel. During the summer season, every evening from dusk until midnight, you can take part in the "Puy de Lumières" (Puy of Lights), which unveils the monuments of the City in a magical play of lights, with shows to be enjoyed in the streets of the City as well as on the Aiguilhe rock and on the banks of the Loire at Brives-Charensac. This apartment is the ideal pied-à-terre to take full advantage of this beautiful city, with its historic center, famous Saturday morning Market and many events. Nearby: the Espaly rock and its statue of Saint-Joseph Bon Espoir, the Polignac fortress, the Chibottes trail... You'll be able to discover the treasures of the Haute-Loire, this very natural region located between the Upper Loire Valley, the Haut Allier, the Sucs du Meygal and the Mont Mézenc massif. All shops, restaurants, Cinema, Theater, public gardens, museums and services within walking distance.

As you enter the gîte, you'll find the entrance brightly lit by the skylight. To your left is the spacious main room, with its comfortable living room and dining table. Next door is the fully-equipped kitchen. A selection of Nespresso Vertuo Grand Cru coffee pods is offered to start your stay. An all-round hallway with cupboard leads to two bedrooms, each with a double bed, en-suite shower room and WC.

For your comfort, all-inclusive rates include: bed linen and towels for the stay, cleaning at the end of the stay (however, the gite must be tidy, the garbage cans and dishwasher emptied, bed linen grouped together in the same place, and sanitary facilities must be in a good state of cleanliness), heating and electricity within the limit of a reasonable consumption (16Kwh/day) - any excess will be paid on site to the owners.
