The owners have lovingly restored this authentic part of the old village of La Penne sur l'Ouvèze. In the heart of the Baronnies Provençales Regional Nature Park, you'll enjoy the calm and greenery of this village house. You'll be able to explore the region's typical half-Alpine, half-Provençal landscapes. The area is ideal for outdoor activities (cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, rock climbing at Rocher du St Julien, paragliding at Mévouillon...), and many walks and hikes can be made from the gîte. Buis-les-Baronnies (10min) and Nyons (30min) offer lively markets where you can taste local produce: the famous Nyons olive, picodon, wines... and discover artisanal products based on lavender and aromatic plants.
Living room with open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge. One bedroom (1x140), bathroom with WC. The terrace is a few meters from the gîte (access by steps). Village parking lot 100m from the gîte. Access to the gîte is via a few wide stone steps.

Prachtig uitzicht Heerlijk verblijf
We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in La Penne-sur-l'Ouvèze. Jeannine heeft ons heel vriendelijk ontvangen. De gîte is lein, maar biedt voldoende comfort. Het uitzicht vanuit het huis en de tuin/ terras is schitterend. Het was er super rustig want er is geen verkeer (en de aangrenzende gites waren toevallig niet verhuurd.) Enige minpuntjes: het bed is wat smal 1.40 m (maar dat stond goed beschreven) en we misten wat keukengereedschap.

Anne 3 jours à la Penne sous l'Ouvèze
Frugalité du logement qui n'enlève rien à sa fonctionnalité, quiétude, propreté.
Le jardin d'agrément quoique non attenant est vraiment un plus pour les repas et les soirées
Vifs remerciements à Jeannine et René d'avoir valider notre séjour de courte durée à la dernière minute contrairement à d'autres gites. Des personnes très accueillantes et sympathiques.- Cleanliness

Wouter 200% tevreden
Wegens een dubbele boeking elders bij toeval hier terecht gekomen en wat was dat een geluk! Locatie ligt tamelijk afgelegen en is uitsluitend te bereiken via een zeer smalle kronkelige weg. Het is er stil en in de nacht pikkedonker waardoor prachtige sterrenhemel. Uitzicht op de zuidzijde van de Mont Ventoux. De accommodatie zelf is traditioneel gebouwd, eenvoudig maar van alle gemakken voorzien.
De eigenaren en ook de buurtbewoners zijn zeer gastvrij, belangstellend en behulpzaam.
Ik had dit voor geen goud willen missen en als het ook maar enigszins uitkomt kom ik er graag nog eens terug.- Cleanliness
