From the gîte's terrace, you'll enjoy a panoramic view of the Ventoux. Just 2km away, the charming village of Mirabel aux Baronnies has preserved a certain architectural authenticity: 12th-century fortifications, ancient ramparts, chapels and a listed fountain. Mirabel combines the Nyons and Côtes du Rhône olive oil appellation zones. You'll be between Nyons (10min) and Vaison-la-Romaine (15min), famous for its archaeological site. In the heart of the Drôme Provençale and at the gateway to the Parc naturel régional des Baronnies Provençales, the scenery is remarkable. This destination is ideally placed for a wide range of outdoor activities (hiking, climbing and via ferrata on the St Julien rock at Buis les Baronnies, mountain biking and cycling on Mont Ventoux). Buis les Baronnies, famous for its local produce market, is 25 minutes away.
