St Julien-en-Vercors is a small village in the Vercors Natural Park between La Chapelle-en-Vercors and Villard-de-Lans. The gîte A l'Orée du Bois welcomes you all year round for a green vacation in a calm and relaxing environment. Summer and winter alike, the Vercors massif is a magnificent playground. The Herbouilly Nordic area is 15 minutes away, and the resorts of Font d'Urle, Col de Rousset, Méaudres and Villard-de-Lans are 30 minutes away. Paragliding take-off area and 1 via corda a few kilometers away. From the gîte, breathtaking scenery awaits you, including the cirque de Bournillon and its 300m waterfall, the Grotte des Gaulois, the Porte du Diable (natural arch) and the Moulin Marquis spring. We can't get enough of the belvederes with views over the Bourne gorges and also over the large goulets with the pas de l'allier trail. For golf lovers: La Chapelle en Vercors 9-hole course (14km away) and Corrençons 18-hole course (20km away).

Cocooning and warm ambience for this wooden gîte built in part of the owners' house. You'll benefit from a separate entrance and private outdoor space (terrace under the trees and garden). The grounds are fully enclosed. First floor: locker for your hiking equipment, skis, snowshoes and sledges. First floor: kitchen with balcony, living room (sofa, TV), 2 bedrooms: one with a double bed (1x140, attic), the other with a double bed and two single beds (1x140, 2x90 including 1 bunk bed), bathroom (shower cubicle), separate toilet. Air-conditioning in kitchen and living room. Available: outdoor spa (July/August), trampoline, tree house, children's portico and shelter for bikes or other equipment.
