L'IRIS

This gîte is an ideal pied-à-terre for anyone wishing to enjoy the richness of Grignan for a weekend, a week or more. You're only 500m from the town, so everything is within walking distance! Situated on a rocky outcrop and dominated by its magnificent Renaissance château, Grignan is steeped in history. It's also a very lively town, with a wide range of festivities (concerts, letter-writing festival...). Further afield, you can learn more about the region at the Musée de la Soie in Taulignan (7km) or the Université du Vin in Suze la Rousse (19km). Not to be missed: the owner will accompany you to the Richerenches truffle market, in season from late November to late February (Saturdays from 10am to 12:30pm).

The gîte is located on the 1st floor of an old stone farmhouse, with independent access via an outside staircase: kitchen/living room with wood-burning stove, 2 bedrooms (1x140)(1x140), shower room/wc. 2nd floor: mezzanine with reading area, bedroom (2x90) with private shower room and toilet. The garden level features a terrace in the shade of an oak tree and a gas plancha.
