First, you have to agree to slow down. Leave the main road, take a little path that leads nowhere else, let the noise of the valley dissolve behind you. Then the property appears, and with it a breathtaking 180° panorama: Roche Colombe, the limestone walls of the Saoû Forest, the crests of the Trois Becs, the meadows where the horses graze, the sky of the Drôme. Les Meyas is an old farmhouse in the Drôme region, restored with respect for its former glory and the surrounding environment. The Bed and breakfast rooms are cosy and comfortable, and in the morning you can enjoy breakfast with a view and local produce. The outdoor spaces quickly become your domain. A clearing to hang a hammock and dip into the available library. A solarium for mornings without plans. A bowling green for those long afternoons. An ecological swimming pool for those hot summer days. And just a two-minute walk away, the Crinières de Roche Colombe equestrian center opens up the valley to those who prefer to explore it from the height of a horse. The large 80 m² activity room - complete with piano, yoga mat and video projector - is also the perfect setting for inspiring workshops, wellbeing retreats and training courses. Les Meyas is ideally located for exploring one of the most generous regions of the Drôme, between Vercors, Drôme Provençale and Diois. The village of Saoû, just ten minutes away, is an invitation to stroll. With its lively terraces in summer, its beautiful fountain in the square and its narrow streets lined with small shops, Saoû is a lively village, firmly rooted in its terroir. The Saoû Forest, just a few minutes away, is one of Europe's most unique natural sites. Classified as a sensitive natural area, this 2,500-hectare perched syncline, surrounded by a limestone wall, is home to chamois, golden eagles, roe deer and a rare wealth of flora. Marked trails lead up to the Trois Becs, with its 1,589-metre panorama. For climbers, over 750 climbing routes are scattered across the different faces of the massif, from 3b to 8b, and from 30 to 300 meters. For the rest of us, a stroll through the Grande Combe is enough to change the world. In the heart of the Forest, the Auberge des Dauphins offers exhibitions on the geology and biodiversity of the syncline, snacks in its golden lounge and themed walks. Hot-air balloon flights are organized from Soyans, some fifteen minutes away, to see from above what you have admired from the terrace of Les Meyas. Crest and its Tour, twenty minutes away, are well worth a half-day trip. This 52-metre-high medieval fortress, now a state prison, offers panoramic views from its summit over the Forest de Saoû, the Drôme valley and hills as far as the Vercors. The City, which has been awarded the "Most Beautiful Detours in France" label, is also worth a visit for its Saturday Market, its arts and crafts workshops and its summer festivals. Die and Clairette are reached by a road that is already a spectacle: hillside vineyards, walnut trees, lavender, hilltop villages. In the caves of Diois, you can discover the secrets of an ancestral wine with natural bubbles dating back two thousand years. Further south, the villages of Dieulefit and its Provencal Friday Market, Grignan and its castle, Nyons and its olive groves open onto a luminous, fragrant Drôme Provençale. The Drôme river completes the picture, one of Europe's last wild rivers, ideal for canoeing, swimming in its turquoise pools and strolling along its unspoilt banks.

The Bed and breakfast offers three beautiful rooms in the wing of a renovated farmhouse. The entrance is independent. A 5-person Holiday cottage is also available: - Chambre RHÔNE (2pers): on the first floor, with its own entrance. This room is suitable for people with reduced mobility (a ramp can be installed on request). You'll find a double bed (1x180) and a bathroom adapted for PMR with Italian shower, toilet (grab rails) and washbasin. - Chambre DRÔME (2 to 4pers): located on the 1st floor. It has a double bed (1x180) and a bathroom with Italian shower. In addition, on the same level, there's the ALSACE room with two single beds (2x90) and a washbasin. If there are two of you and you wish to use both rooms, the 3-person price applies - SOIE room (2 to 4pers): located on the 2nd floor. It has a double bed (1x160) and a bathroom with Italian shower. In addition, on the same level, you'll find the INDE room with a double bed (1x140) and a small bathroom (Italian shower and washbasin). If there are two of you and you wish to use both rooms, the 3-person price applies. Depending on the season, breakfast is served in the dining room or on the terrace. The buffet is set up in the dining room and includes both sweet and savory items.
