LES GRANDS GOULETS

Access to the village is mainly via the spectacular Combe Laval road, a listed site carved out of the rock, offering a grandiose foretaste of the riches of the Vercors. A true crossroads for tourists, this region appeals in all seasons to families and experienced sports enthusiasts alike. The range of activities is immense: from hiking and climbing, mountain biking, caving and canyoning in summer, to skiing, snowshoeing and dog sledding at the first snowfall. Nearby, on the road to Vassieux, the Grotte de la Draye Blanche marvels at its stalactites and impressive 15-metre petrified waterfalls. Beyond its landscapes, La Chapelle-en-Vercors is also an important historical site, steeped in the memory of the Resistance that the whole massif witnessed during the Second World War. The village has a lively Tourist Office, a municipal swimming pool and a Maison de l'Aventure!

Located on the second floor of a stone house with shared entrance, this Holiday cottage welcomes you with a corridor leading to a large, bright living room, where the kitchen opens onto a large living room with balcony. South-facing! Here, the absence of television invites you to get back to basics and enjoy a game of board games. This first level also features a laundry area with shower and separate WC. On the upper floor, the sleeping area comprises three bedrooms: two attics (one with two 90cm beds, the other with a 140cm bed) and a third bedroom with a 140cm bed. A bathroom with corner bath and a second toilet complete this level. You'll enjoy a privileged geographical location, just a two-minute walk from all the shops (bakery, restaurants, mini-market), as well as direct access to numerous signposted Hiking trails from the gîte for exploring the surrounding countryside.
