Stone house located at the foot of the Vercors mountains in a quiet, relaxing setting. In the Coton valley, where a small river flows, you can set off from the gîte for beautiful hikes (geological curiosity, pretty arch of the Sarrasins bridge) or stay to enjoy the garden and nearby nature. Easily accessible from the A7 and A49 motorways or the Valence-TGV train station, the gîte is 20 minutes from Valence and Romans-sur-Isère. 8 km from shops and amenities in Chabeuil (organic produce stores) and Montélier. Municipal swimming pools in neighboring Peyrus and Chabeuil. In Châteaudouble, you'll find a local baker who sells his bread at the farm on Monday and Thursday evenings, a Jersiais dairy cow farm with direct farm sales, and a friendly bar run by local residents (Troquet de Marette). Also in the village: church, temple, soccer fields, basketball courts, pétanque, toboggan, table tennis, skatepark, Château Rompu and Vierge lookouts.

First floor: 15m² enclosed room (washing machine, solar water heater, storage for bulky personal equipment). First floor: small kitchen (with filter coffee and Senseo), air-conditioned living room (south-east exposure) with view of the Vercors (reversible air-conditioning and wood-burning stove). The hallway leads to the bedroom (140x190, 100x190), bathroom and separate toilet. The 2nd bedroom is accessible from outside (from the terrace) via 2 steps (120x190, 90x190). Recycling: selective sorting (garbage cans on site and containers at the entrance to the village), composting on the property (chickens + compost). Outside: unenclosed flower garden, 2 terraces, classic charcoal BBQ, 2 parking spaces, 1 in front of the Holiday cottage (please drive carefully as it's a narrow space between the Holiday cottage and our house), electric recharging point on site and in the village. For the little ones: cot, high chair, changing mat, lots of games. For 2 or more pets: €50/stay cleaning charge.
