Want to get away from it all? This holiday cottage for 2 people, located in Volvent, is the perfect starting point for exploring the Drôme Provençale, nestled among lavender fields, forests, and wild landscapes.
Here, everything invites you to enjoy nature. Numerous hiking trails start right from the holiday cottage (maps available), and cycling enthusiasts can take the Route de la Roanne, complete the Tour de la Vallée de la Roanne, or take on the challenge of the Col de la Vache. A secure storage area is provided for bicycles, and electric bikes are also available for rent nearby.
Keep your eyes peeled during your walks: it’s not uncommon to spot does, stags, roe deer, or even vultures (the Vulture House in Remuzat—40 min away). The surrounding area also offers plenty to discover, including honey producers, herb gardens, and landscapes fragrant with lavender in season.
To cool off, the Brette River is just 4 km away. You can also enjoy the Pas des Ondes Base de loisirs in Cornillon-sur-l’Oule, about fifteen minutes away, or the municipal pool in Saint-Nazaire-le-Désert, nestled in the heart of nature.
Climbers will love the Pas de l’Échelle via ferrata, just 14 minutes from the holiday cottage!
On Thursday evenings in the summer, don’t miss the concerts in Saint-Nazaire-le-Désert, followed by a delicious meal at one of the small local Restaurants.
And for a truly relaxing vacation, Wellbeing massages can be arranged directly at the holiday cottage (for an additional fee and by appointment—provided by an outside service provider). Cécile, the owner, also offers guided meditations or energy cleansing sessions (€50 for 1 hour, at an additional cost and by appointment).

Located at an elevation of 850 meters, Volvent is a small village perched on a rocky outcrop at the top of a hillside.

The Le Pidencier holiday cottage is located just outside the village of Volvent, adjacent to the owner’s semi-detached house; Cécile will be delighted to welcome you.

Entirely on one level, the holiday cottage features a separate entrance and a private garden furnished with patio furniture and lounge chairs—ideal for enjoying meals outdoors or simply relaxing while taking in the stunning view of the mountains. A private parking space is located right in front of the entrance. Cyclists will also appreciate the locked, secure bike storage area provided for their use.

Inside, you’ll find an open-concept living area with a kitchen and living room. The holiday cottage also includes a bedroom with a double bed (140 × 190 cm), a bathroom with a hydromassage shower, and a separate toilet.

The holiday cottage is located along the Route du Col de la Vache, ideal for mountain bikers (low-traffic road).
