Nestled in the greenery of the Féline valley in the Drôme Provençale region, the Moulin de TRUINAS is situated at an altitude of 600 m, hidden from view. Surrounded by the RIMANDOULE river and the RIAILLE spring, which runs alongside the Holiday cottage, you can wander through more than 10 hectares of nature. This fully renovated 13th-century building offers an exceptional setting for a stay with friends or family.
The mill also boasts its own private Piscine, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. All rooms have independent entrances!
The village and surrounding area offer a wide range of activities. You can discover the Hiking trails, or take advantage of the local Markets, renowned for their handicrafts. Nearby Dieulefit is famous for its pottery and workshops, offering a rich cultural experience.
To preserve the tranquility of the premises and the comfort of all, parties and festive gatherings are not permitted in the Holiday cottage.
The property is divided into two distinct parts, linked by the inner courtyard.
Main body:
- Double living room with TV- WiFi, open onto dining room and kitchen.
- 1 King-size bedroom (180x200 cm) with dressing room, private terrace and large bathroom accessible via a staircase.
- 1 Kids' dormitory with 4 single beds (90x190 cm), communicating with the master bedroom (180x200 cm) - accessed via stairs.
- Mezzanine leading to bedroom 1 King-size bedroom (180x200 cm)
Annex - independent entrance from courtyard:
- 1 bedroom (180x200 cm) accessible from the courtyard after a few steps.
- 1 bedroom with private terrace, lounge area, and large bedroom upstairs (180x200 cm) accessed by stairs
All rooms have private bathrooms (shower, WC), 2 are air-conditioned! Hotel-quality bedding.
Outside, enjoy ample parking, a secure shed, a swimming pool with alarm (open from May to September) and a summer kitchen.

Marie Séjour exceptionnel et ressourçant
Nous avons passé un excellent weekend en famille au moulin de Truinas. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’emplacement au calme, les extérieurs, les jeux sur place (ping pong, baby foot) et la literie très confortable. Par ailleurs, le fait que chaque chambre ait ses toilettes et sa salle de bain garantit de l’intimité même en étant 11 dans la maison. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Frank N Spacious and Peaceful Villa
We stayed at this villa in early July 2025 with three families – six adults and four children – and had a very enjoyable time. The house is spacious and well laid out, with two rooms that have separate entrances, which worked perfectly for our group setup and gave everyone a bit of extra privacy.
The welcome by the owner was warm and personal. He met us upon arrival and showed us around the property, which he tastefully renovated himself.
The villa looks just like the photos on the website – no surprises there – and the setting is truly beautiful. The garden is huge, and the surrounding area is peaceful and green. There’s no other house in sight, you have total privacy throughout your stay.
Do note that the villa is quite remote, so you really do need a car for everything – shops, restaurants, activities. But if you’re looking to disconnect and enjoy some quiet time with friends or family, it’s a great choice.
We’d definitely consider coming back in the future.
