Start by crossing the spectacular Gorges des Grands Goulets and Combe Laval to admire the majestic landscapes of the Vercors Natural Park. Then head for the charming village of La Chapelle-en-Vercors, where Le Mas de la Roche welcomes you. The gîte lies on the route of the Grande Traversée du Vercors, at the foot of the cime du Mas.
The region offers a multitude of 4-season activities:
In winter, the nearby ski resorts await you with their snow-covered slopes and breathtaking panoramas. Just 15 minutes from Font d'Urle, 20 minutes from Col du Rousset and 40 minutes from Villard-de-Lans, winter sports enthusiasts can choose between downhill and cross-country skiing.
In summer, take advantage of the hiking trails directly accessible from the gîte, mountain biking, climbing, museum visits, or simply the beauty of the surrounding countryside. The magnificent landscapes of the Vercors offer many possibilities!
Access to the Holiday cottage is via a dirt path, and the entrance is via an outside staircase. Opening the door, you'll find a large living room with sofa bed and TV, opening onto the dining room. The nearby fully-equipped kitchen also has access to the terrace.
Along the corridor, a first independent toilet, a beautifully decorated bathroom with bath and toilet, a first bedroom with two 90 cm beds that can be converted into a 180 cm bed with access to the terrace, a second bedroom with a 180 cm bed also with access to the terrace, and a third bedroom with a 160x200 cm bed and its own bathroom.
Upstairs, a second living room, a library area and a final bedroom with two 90 cm beds complete this floor (closed by a curtain, no door).
During your stay, you'll enjoy 1500m2 of unfenced grounds, garage for one car and bike/motorcycle shelter. No Wifi.

Small bears Belle maison pour découvrir le vercors
Grande maison très agréable avec trois belles chambres.par contre l'étage est très bas de plafond.il faut faire très attention en montant l'escalier.Bien située et tranquille. La sortie du chemin de terre n'est pas toujours evidente

felix Excellent séjour
Gîte très confortable, refait à neuf récemment. Bien plus grand et confortable que ce à quoi je m'attendais (si les proprios avaient voulus, ils auraient pu en faire un gîte 12 voir 14 places, mais avec un confort moindre).
Cuisine très bien équipée, y compris en électroménager (batteur, appareil à raclette, ...).
Grand jardin avec table, chaises, chaises longues, ... dont on n'a malheureusement pas eut beaucoup l'utilité vu la météo et le fait qu'on était rarement présent en journée.
Chambres très confortables. À noter que contrairement à l'annonce, il y a 3 lits doubles et 2 lits simples (et non 2 lits doubles + 4 lits simples), mais s'il y en a qui ne veulent pas dormir ensemble, il y a largement la place poser des matelas par terre à l'étage. Il y a en plus un lit bébé.
Pour le garage, il y a beaucoup plus d'espace au total que ne le laisse penser l'annonce, mais assez encombré. Si vous voulez y mettre une voiture, prévenez en avance pour qu'ils libèrent la place dans la partie de devant. Dans notre cas, on s'en est servi pour stocker le matos spéléo, et c'était parfait (juste prévoir des bâches, le sol est poussiéreux).
Amis spéléos : ça fait un très bon camp de base pour faire de la spéléo dans le Vercors. Il faut juste bien s'imposer que le matos reste dans le garage. J'y retournerais probablement pour mes prochains camps en gîte.
Seul petit bémol : j'ai trouvé les demandes de nettoyage un peu exagérées pour une réservation où l'option ménage était incluse.En tout cas, un gîte que je recommande fortement!

SebA Très bon séjour
Hébergement qui a su répondre à nos attentes.
Le gîte est neuf, spacieux et très bien équipé parfait pour passer un bon moment en famille.
A noter également un gite d'une propreté impeccable.
Pas mal de choses sont a voir ou a faire à proximité (grotte de la Percée Blanche, Musée de la résistance de Vassieux, grotte de la Luire, musée de la préhistoire à Vassieux, Mémorial de la résistance à Vassieux, Cour des fusillés à La Chapelle-en-Vercors, de superbes ballades, col du Rousset, Font d'Urle ...).

Pierre Bon séjour
Gîte agréable avec grand espace à l’étage pour les enfants (mais pas de porte à l’étage pour fermer la chambre).
Neuf et très fonctionnel.
Conforme à l’annonce.
Accueil très arrangeant.
