LE MARTAGON

In the heart of the Vercors Massif and Natural Park, between St Julien en Vercors and La Chapelle en Vercors, lies Le Martagon, ideally placed for enjoying the pleasures of the mountains in summer and winter alike. Nestled on the heights away from the village, the gîte boasts a breathtaking view of the cliffs of the Vercors High Plateaux. There's plenty to do in the great outdoors: on foot, snowshoe, bike or ski, you'll be close to the signposted hiking trails facing the Vercors Virgin. The Herbouilly Nordic area can be reached in 15 minutes, and Villard de Lans in 30 minutes. You can admire "Roche rousse" from where paragliders take off. You'll also be able to discover and savor the AOC Vercors blue cheese and the various specialties of the region, presented to you by the shopkeepers of St Martin en Vercors. 4-season tobogganing and downhill skiing at Col du Rousset. A via corda is also open to the initiated.

This former family farmhouse has been completely renovated and tastefully converted, and now houses 4 gîtes. Le Martagon is on the 1st floor and shares an entrance with another gite. The interior is laid out as follows: living room with dining area, kitchen and access to the balcony, bedroom (140x190), shower room, separate toilet. The outside space is shared with the 3 other gîtes.
